FABRICATION AND INSTALLATION
Installation work to pipework’s, tank vessels are carried out on site by our highly trained and experienced insulation engineers whom hold CCCS, IPAF, PASMA and CITB (Site Safety) certifications. Fabrication can also be carried out in our own on site workshop. Our fabrications are engineered to the highest quality to suit any design and finish.
TRACE HEATING
McLatchie Insulations supplies unique and safe trace heating systems to maintain or raise the temperature of pipes and vessels using heat tracing cables and insulation.
Our trace heating systems are used to protect pipes from freezing, to maintain a constant flow temperature in hot water systems, or to maintain process temperatures for piping that must transport substances that solidify at ambient temperatures. Trace heating can be attached to pipework, tanks or vessels using cable ties, aluminium or glass fibre tape or a suitable adhesive prior to covering with lagging or insulation, designed to provide focused and controllable heat to prevent freezing.
INSULATED JACKETS
All our insulated jackets are made to specification and are bespoke to our customers’ requirements. Thermal insulated jackets are extremely hard wearing and versatile for use with a variety of applications to suit our customer requirements/specification and generally have a temperature range of -65° to 250°C. Double sided grey silicone with ductwrap infill with hook and loop fasteners or velcro fastenings available.
Our trained and qualified engineers can install our customer insulation jackets and mats to any pipework or plant in any industrial or commercial sector.
